Meal Out OOTD & First Post!

So lovelies, for my first post I thought I would do something simple to introduce myself and my style. I wore this outfit to a meal out with my parents and Granddad. We went to a lovely pub/restaurant and I had some delicious food! I wanted an outfit that would suit this casual yet rare event. I like to dress up a little bit more for days like this as seeing my family is super important to me! So basically, I wanted something cute/girly but also edgy, I mixed prints, textures and colours and this is what I came up with!

Isn't my shirt the cutest?! I got from the Hello Kitty collection at Forever 21 which I THINK was limited edition. As there's hardly any Forever 21s in the UK I got mine from the Oxford Street store in London, it was around £20. As for my bottom half, skater skirts seem to have exploded this season and I'm accumulating quite the collection! This velvet blue number was from American Apparel, it was around £35 but they often do discount codes for online (I used a 30% off one) so it's worth signing up to their mailing list girlies! I tucked the shirt into the skirt as you can see and paired it with a pair of black tights (British summer does not necessarily mean sun and heat so I was NOT getting my pins out!) and I also wore my staple white socks, which I pretty much wear with every outfit. Due to this being a casual outing, I went for my baby pink flatform plimsolls from Primark which I think were £6. I LOVE them as they are the perfect mix between gily and edgy. I kept my accessories simple but my bag is quite a gem, I got it from a charity shop for £2.50! I highly recommend charity shops! That's pretty much it! If you are curious about what I did with my hair, that will be in an upcoming post. Thank you for reading, as I am new to this, if you have any questions/suggestions please feel free to leave a comment or tweet me (links at the side).

Stay fabulous, love Rosie x
